We have a little Swiss pastry shop just down the street from us, (it is still there, and still just down the street), and they sold Mentos in the 1970s. Back then, you couldn't find them anywhere else. I loved them, they seemed so exotic, and I could polish off an entire roll in five minutes. As for Toblerone, I agree with you! I only enjoy them in Europe. I tried one here and it just wasn't the same.
